These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of migj (the "Service"), provided by [Legal entity name], [registered address], VAT/Tax ID [P.IVA/CF] ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

migj is a personal and family budgeting application. It helps you plan, track and review income, expenses, budgets and savings goals, including by importing bank statement files you provide (CSV/XLSX). migj is offered on a Free plan and optional paid Premium and Family plans with additional features, as described on our pricing page.

2. Eligibility and your account

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• If you join a family group, the group's Owner can manage members and their roles (Owner / Member / Viewer), which determine what each member can see and do, as described in the app.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service for unlawful purposes; attempt to access other users' data without authorization; reverse-engineer, scrape or overload the Service; upload malicious files; or use the Service to process data you are not entitled to process (e.g. financial data belonging to someone who has not consented to sharing it with your family group).

4. Your content and data

You retain ownership of the financial data you enter or import into migj. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and display that data solely to provide the Service to you and the members of your family group. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle personal data.

5. Plans, billing and cancellation

• The Free plan is free indefinitely, subject to the usage limits described in the app.
• Premium and Family plans are billed on a recurring basis via Stripe. Prices and billing cycles are shown before purchase.
• You can cancel a paid plan at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise.

6. Not financial advice

migj is a budgeting and organisation tool. It does not provide financial, tax, legal or investment advice. Any insights, projections or suggestions shown in the app are informational only and should not be relied upon as professional advice. You are responsible for your own financial decisions.

7. Service availability and changes

We aim to keep migj available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features of the Service, including during a beta period, with reasonable notice where practical.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Profile → Privacy and data → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, migj and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including decisions made based on data or insights shown in the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (e.g. for gross negligence or wilful misconduct).

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [city], Italy, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or an in-app notice before they take effect.
